David S. Kreinces, Founder & Portfolio Manager
Mr. Kreinces has over 19 years of diverse experience across multiple-asset classes and investment disciplines. Prior to launching ETF PM in 2007, he was a PIA Portfolio Manager in the Merrill Lynch Global Private Client Group, specializing in absolute return strategies using Exchange-Traded Funds (ETFs). Mr. Kreinces also formerly worked as a long-short portfolio manager focusing on the technology sector during the Internet bubble, giving him valuable experience in managing extreme market volatility.
In the late 1990s, Mr. Kreinces was an institutional research analyst for Bear Stearns in New York. During his tenure with the high-yield bond research group, Mr. Kreinces was instrumental in making his team the top ranked research department in the Broadcasting and Media sector. Prior to his work at Bear Stearns, Mr. Kreinces gained extensive experience in commercial real estate analysis as a consultant with various firms in Atlanta including CB Commercial.
Mr. Kreinces is originally from Long Island, NY. He received a B.B.A. in Accounting from Emory University and an M.S. in Real Estate from Georgia State University. He is also passionate about education and serves on the Board of the Conejo Schools Foundation.
J. Edwin Holliday, Advisory Board Member
Mr. Holliday has been in the investment industry for almost 30 years. Prior to joining ETF PM in late 2008, he spent 11 years as Regional Vice President for Campbell & Co., one of the oldest and largest absolute return portfolio managers worldwide. Mr. Holliday raised over $1.3 billion in client capital, and he is considered to be an authority on the value of quantitative trading strategies.
Prior to entering the investment industry in 1980, Mr. Holliday sold private and corporate aircraft. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from West Virginia Institute of Technology, and he is also a licensed pilot.
