Investable Benchmarks
ETF PM offers three passive core portfolios comprised of leading ETFs from Vanguard and iShares: Income, Income & Growth, and the eMAC Portfolio.
eMAC Portfolio
We based the efficient multi-asset class (eMAC) portfolio on David Swensen’s recommendation in ”Unconventional Success“ and his revisions. Swensen’s performance managing Yale University’s multi-billion dollar endowment fund is leading Wall Street in many respects and his views have significantly broadened the industry’s perception of proper diversification.
Over the past decade, the eMAC gained 117% while the Income Portfolio returned 141%, and the hedge fund index rose by 87%. In addition, the eMAC is a liquid and transparent multi-asset class portfolio comprised of six ultra low-cost ETFs. See our Market Summary and Annual Returns.
Income Portfolios
ETF PM was responsible for the asset allocation of the income portfolios, and we had full discretionary authority over the selection of investments.
Asset Allocation & Performance
We illustrate our passive core portfolio returns versus the S&P 500 and Long-Term Treasuries. The asset allocation and performance data are shown in our performance summaries and presentations.
To broaden diversification, we also provide active absolute return strategies.
The passive core asset allocations are designed to represent a range of diversified portfolios. See the disclosures page for full disclosures on all of our portfolios.
