ETF PM Pledges $83,000
Financial Advisor Supports Schools and Charities Selected by Clients
THOUSAND OAKS, CA (December 1, 2017) – ETF Portfolio Management (ETF PM), a revolutionary financial advisory firm, has pledged $83,000 in charitable donations since 2010. The firm has a Pledge to Give Back in which a percentage of each client’s annual advisory fee is donated to the school or charity selected by the client.
The total amount above includes over $6,000 pledged for calendar year 2017. Since inception, ETF PM has helped to support the following 67 important community entities:

Two YMCAs – Miller Family & Triunfo, facilities in Southern California for youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility.
5-Star Theatricals – the Ovation Award-winning resident musical theatre production company of the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza, and a nonprofit theatre organization.
Alzheimer’s Foundation of America – provides care and services to individuals confronting dementia, and to their caregivers and families.
American Heart Association – funds research, fights for public health policies, and provides critical tools and information to same and improve lives.
American Red Cross – founded in 1881, shelters, feeds and provides emotional support for victims of disasters; supplies about 40% of the nation’s blood, teaches life-saving skills, provides international humanitarian aid, and supports veterans.
Bat Hna Buddhist Temple – a place of tranquility, where young and old can gather, and where adherents to one of the world’s oldest religions can seek the Middle Way.
Because of Hope – seeks to sustainably empower widows and orphans living in Uganda.
Cabrillo Music Theatre – a non-profit theatre company that presents locally-produced, professional music theatre at the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza in Southern California.
Calvary Chapel Echo Park – a small fellowship that annually supplies over 100 Thanksgiving food baskets to local elementary schools in the Echo Park area of Los Angeles.
Casa de Amma – an apartment community in Southern California fostering growth and independence in adults with special needs.
Casa Pacifica – serves abused and neglected children and adolescents, and those with severe emotional, social, behavioural, and mental health challenges.
Catholic Charities USA – provides help and hope for people, regardless of their religious background, through efforts to reduce poverty, support families, and empower communities.
Chabad Newbury Park – provides a place of prayer, study, and gathering in a warm spiritual place for growth and community.
Children Without Shoes International – supports the education of struggling children in remote areas by providing shoes and school uniforms to 300 students in northern Nicaragua.
Children’s Aid Society – a group that has been serving New York’s neediest children and families for over 150 years. All aspects of child development are addressed at over 45 locations.
Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta – one of the largest pediatric clinical care providers nationwide, serving over 850,000 patient visits annually, via three hospitals, and 24 neighbourhood locations.
Children’s Hospital Los Angeles – provides pediatric health care to more than 107,000 children each year.
Compassionate Service Society – facilitates the practice of Bodhisattva (altruism) and promotes holistic living through a spiritual and healing environment for body, mind and spirit.
Craig D. Tifford Foundation – provides funding for research, to increase public awareness, and to further patient education and support for men with testicular cancer.
Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation of America – researches cures for Crohn’s Disease and ulcerative colitis, and improves the quality of life for people affected by them.
Cure Dystonia Now – provides funding for research to help treat, and find a cure, for the Dystonia movement disorder.
From Chrysalis to Wings – a provider of counselling, support, and education for families with malformation caused by birth defects or disfiguration of the body due to illness or trauma.
Georgia Network for Educational and Therapeutic Support – 24 programs that support the local school systems’ continuum of services for students with disabilities, ages 3-21.
Gerson Institute – curing people with chronic degenerative diseases (cancer, diabetes, heart disease, arthritis, etc.) for over 60 years, with an organic vegetarian diet and raw juices.
Greater Contribution – provides micro loans to poor women in Africa to enable them to create or expand a small business and work their way out of poverty.
Hearing Health Foundation – founded in 1958, the foundation works to prevent and cure hearing loss through ground-breaking research.
Hippocrates Health Institute – a community resource for priceless education and instruction on organic raw vegan food as medicine for chronic disease, pain reduction and avoidance, health, happiness, and longevity.
Inheritance of Hope – a provider of books and literature, life-changing family retreats, and support for children and families with a parent diagnosed with a life-threatening illness.
Itty Bittys and Pitties Rescue – Jolie Foley’s all breed dog rescue in the Conejo Valley, CA.
Khan Academy – a free world-class education system through an extensive video library covering everything from K-12 math to science, history, and finance. Khan is revolutionizing education by helping anyone with Internet access to learn efficiently and at their own pace.
Lend A Hand Project – enhances the lives of the needy on Long Island through anonymous pairing of volunteer Sponsors with Recipients, to extend a helping hand both materially, and through relationships, and friendships with dignity.
Malibu Adamson House Foundation – (DBA Malibu Lagoon Museum) – a museum in Southern California that preserves a classic home designed by Stiles O. Clements in 1929.
Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center – one of the world’s premier cancer centers in patient care, research and education, with facilities in New York and the tri-state area.
Michael J. Fox Foundation – working to cure Parkinson’s disease, and to develop improved therapies for patients.
Muscular Dystrophy Association Southern Nevada – a leading health agency dedicated to finding treatments and cures for muscular dystrophy, ALS, and other neuromuscular diseases.
Nature Conservancy – a leading conservation organization working to protect ecologically important resources.
Newbury Park Basketball Association – operates a basketball league for grades 3-9, in Newbury Park, CA.
NORML – works to legalize the responsible use of marijuana by adults, and to serve as an advocate for consumers.
Performing Animal Welfare Society – a sanctuary for animals who have been the victims of the exotic and performing animal trades.

School On Wheels – a tutoring service for homeless children founded in 1993 by Agnes Stevens, a retired teacher in Santa Monica. Hundreds of volunteers work one-on-one with homeless children from grades K-12 throughout Southern California.
